8/20/2017 José Berríos, Min, P
Jose Berrios improved to 11-5, allowing two hits and one walk over 7.0 scoreless innings, as the Minnesota Twins defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 on Saturday. Berrios struck out seven, ending the game with a 3.99 ERA and 1.15 WHIP on the season.

Analysis: The young right-hander was battered for 11 runs in 8 1/3 innings over his previous two starts, but was magnificent in this one. Though Berrios has had his share of inconsistency, he should be a solid bet for success in Thursday's outing against the sagging White Sox.
8/20/2017 Zack Greinke, Ari, P
Zack Greinke fell to 14-6, allowing five runs - four earned - on seven hits and four walks in 4.0 innings, as the Arizona Diamondbacks lost to the Minnesota Twins 5-0 on Saturday. Greinke struck out four, ending the game with a 3.16 ERA and 1.08 WHIP on the season.

Analysis: After stifling the Astros' heavy-hitting lineup with 6 2/3 scoreless innings to win his last start, Greinke labored through 96 pitches in his shortest outing of the season. The Arizona ace should fare better in a road start against the Mets on Thursday, as he's 2-0 with a 2.16 ERA in four career visits to Citi Field.
8/20/2017 Brian Dozier, Min, 2B
Brian Dozier went 2 for 3 with an RBI Saturday as the Minnesota Twins topped the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0. Dozier scored once. He ended the game with a .259 batting average.

Analysis: Dozier seems to always get better as the season goes along. He's been on a tear for most of August, batting .365 (23 for 63) with seven homers, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored over a 15-game stretch. Keep him locked into fantasy lineups.
8/20/2017 Joe Mauer, Min, 1B
Joe Mauer went 3 for 3 with an RBI Saturday as the Minnesota Twins beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0. He ended the game with a .290 batting average.

Analysis: The three-time batting champion appears to be turning back the clock, as he's 18 for 36 with nine RBIs over his last nine games for the surging Twins. Mauer has recorded four straight multihit efforts at home as well, a stretch in which he's 10 for 17.

He's also batting .438 (14 for 32) with three homers, nine RBIs and nine runs scored during a nine-game hitting streak. It's taken a painfully long time, but the immensely talented center fielder may finally be putting it all together.
8/20/2017 Jorge Polanco, Min, SS

8/20/2017 Miguel Sanó, Min, 3B
Miguel Sano went 0 for 2 before leaving Saturday's 5-0 win over Arizona in the seventh inning with soreness in his left shin. He ended the game with a .267 batting average.

Analysis: The Twins have initially called him day to day, but there's probably a decent chance Sano is held out of Sunday's game. The Diamondbacks probably wouldn't mind after the power-hitting third baseman went 3 for 4 with two homers and three RBIs in Friday's opener.
8/20/2017 A.J. Pollock, Ari, CF

The 25-year-old has been excellent since the beginning of July, recording a .342 average in 40 games.

Analysis: The Twins have won 10 of their last 13 games, and Kepler has played a big part in that surge by batting .313 (15 for 48) with six homers and 12 RBIs. Five of those long balls have come at Target Field, where the 24-year-old is hitting .276 compared to a .227 mark on the road.
