|10/16/2017||Marlon Mack, Ind, RB|
|Marlon Mack ran for 18 yards on two carries Monday in the Indianapolis Colts' 36-22 loss to the Tennessee Titans.|
|10/16/2017||Ryan Succop, Ten, K|
|Succop set an NFL record with his 47th consecutive successful kick inside 50 yards on a 48-yard field goal in the first quarter Monday against the Colts.
Analysis: Succop came into Monday night's game tied with Matt Bryant, who connected on 46 straight field goals inside 50 yards between 2013 and 2015 for the Atlanta Falcons. The kicker capped the Titans' opening drive with his field goal, taking the record to himself. Succop's current streak started in 2014, and he topped the franchise record of 24 straight set by Al Del Greco in 1995-1996.
|10/16/2017||Arik Armstead, SF, DT|
|Armstead broke his hand during the 49ers' loss in Washington and will need surgery, coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday.
Analysis: Armstead, a first-round pick in 2015, will miss significant time for a second straight season after having shoulder surgery that cost him the final eight games of 2016. He may go on injured reserve, where he would join fellow defensive ends Tank Carradine (ankle) and Ronald Blair (wrist).
|10/16/2017||Dustin Hopkins, Was, K|
|Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Hopkins is week-to-week with a rotator muscle strain in his right hip.
Analysis: Hopkins' availability for next Monday's game at Philadelphia is clearly in doubt, and Gruden added that the team will work out some kickers during the week. Hopkins tied for fourth in the NFL with 34 made field goals in 42 attempts last season, and he's 9 for 11 on field goal tries while making 12 of 13 PAT attempts so far in 2017.
|10/16/2017||Aaron Rodgers, GB, QB|
|Packers coach Mike McCarthy says Rodgers will have surgery on his broken right collarbone, and that his season could be over.
Analysis: McCarthy said Monday that the two-time NFL MVP would have surgery in the near future. He says that there is no timeline for his potential return. "The key is to get Aaron healthy, it's not to develop a timeline," McCarthy said. Rodgers got hurt in the first quarter of the 23-10 loss on Sunday at Minnesota. Brett Hundley is now the starting quarterback.
|10/16/2017||Jordan Matthews, Buf, WR|
|Matthews has had the cast removed from his broken right thumb, though it remains uncertain when the starter can begin practicing.
Analysis: Coach Sean McDermott listed Matthews as day to day on Monday, when Buffalo held a brief practice upon returning from its bye week. McDermott said it was premature to determine whether Matthews would be cleared for practice this week or potentially play against Tampa Bay on Sunday.
|10/16/2017||NaVorro Bowman, Oak, LB|
|Bowman has agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Raiders.
Analysis: Bowman earned first team All-Pro honors four times in his career, achieving it from 2011-13 and then again in 2015 after coming back from a devastating knee injury. Bowman then tore his Achilles tendon early last season and missed most of the year before coming back again this year. While he lacks some of the speed he had when he was younger, Bowman still could probably help a team at age 29.
|10/16/2017||Jonathan Allen, Was, DT|
|Allen has a Lisfranc sprain in his foot and will miss some time, according to coach Jay Gruden.
Analysis: Allen could miss three or four weeks, Gruden said while providing injury updates Monday. Allen's injury pushes second-year lineman Anthony Lanier into an expanded role.
|10/16/2017||Rob Kelley, Was, RB|
|Kelley will practice this week ahead of Monday's game in Philadelphia.
Analysis: Kelley began the season as Washington's top back, and his return could come at a good time with Chris Thompson and Samaje Perine struggling mightily last week against the 49ers, combining for 56 yards on 25 carries.
|10/16/2017||Trevor Siemian, Den, QB|
|Siemian, who left Sunday's loss to the Giants briefly near the end of the second quarter with a left shoulder injury, is expected to start Sunday against the Chargers.
Analysis: Siemian, who threw for a career-best 376 yards as the Broncos' rally against the Giants came up short, next faces a Chargers team which ranks fourth in the NFL against the pass, yielding 186 yards per game.
|10/16/2017||Case Keenum, Min, QB|
|Keenum will be back under center, starting for the Vikings in their Week 7 matchup with the Ravens.
Analysis: Keenum made his fourth start of the season this past Sunday against Green Bay with Sam Bradford ailing, throwing for 239 yards with a touchdown and interception with one of his top receivers (Stefon Diggs) out. The Ravens are fifth in the NFL against the pass, yielding an average of 189.5 yards and are second in the league with nine interceptions.
|10/16/2017||Mohamed Sanu, Atl, WR|
|Sanu (hamstring) is expected to return to practice this week after not practicing at all last week and not playing against Miami.
Analysis: Sanu was originally expected to be sidelined two to three weeks when he was injured in Week 4. He has 16 catches for 163 yards and a touchdown in four games this season.
|10/16/2017||Emmanuel Sanders, Den, WR|
|Sanders will miss Sunday's game against the Chargers with a sprained ankle.
Analysis: Sanders wasn't putting up great numbers with the Broncos struggling to find consistency from the quarterback position, but he's still a solid play in the right matchup when he returns.
|10/16/2017||Jameis Winston, TB, QB|
|Winston suffered an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder in Sunday's loss in Arizona and is questionable to play for Tampa Bay in its Week 7 matchup at Buffalo.
Analysis: Winston left the field early in Sunday's second quarter holding his right arm limp after throwing three consecutive incomplete passes and didn't return, though it was reported he could've returned. Former Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick came in following Winston's injury and nearly rallied the Bucs to an improbable comeback win, finishing with 290 passing yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions for a 102.3 QB rating.
|10/16/2017||Martavis Bryant, Pit, WR|
|Bryant reportedly requested a trade recently, but he seemed to shut down those reports.
Analysis: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported late Sunday that sources informed him of Bryant's trade request, adding that Steelers teammates and coaches are well aware that the receiver is unhappy. Bryant posted Sunday night on Twitter that he is happy to be in Pittsburgh. "Big win today and tomorrow right back to work tomorrow I am happy to be a steeler and can't wait to reach number 7 this year," Bryant tweeted hours after the Steelers' 19-13 victory over the Chiefs.
|10/15/2017||Brett Hundley, GB, QB|
|Brett Hundley was 18 of 33 for 157 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Green Bay Packers' 23-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He threw three interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked four times. Hundley added three rushing yards on one carry.
Analysis: Hundley, a third-year pro, was pressed into duty in the first quarter after Packers starter Aaron Rodgers was lost for the game, and possibly for the season, with a broken collarbone. Hundley came into the game with 11 career attempts and will get a week to prepare for next Sunday's game against a Saints team which scored three defensive touchdowns in a win over the Lions.
|10/15/2017||Jameis Winston, TB, QB|
|Winston suffered a shoulder injury in the first half of the Bucs' game at Arizona and did not return. Winston left the field early in the second quarter holding his right arm limp after throwing three consecutive incomplete passes. Coach Dirk Koetter said X-rays were negative. An MRI was planned on Monday.
Analysis: This is a big blow to Winston, who was still trying to find some early-season consistency. Winston did say he's had the injury before. "I'll be back soon," he said.
|10/15/2017||Aaron Rodgers, GB, QB|
|Rodgers has a broken collarbone and "could miss the rest of the season." The Packers made the announcement about their star quarterback in the third quarter at Minnesota. The Packers also posted on their official Twitter account that "there's a chance he could miss the rest of the season."
Analysis: Rodgers, rolling out to the right on a second-and-9 play from the Green Bay 39-yard line, was hit by the Vikings' Anthony Barr after releasing a pass that fell incomplete. The quarterback appeared to land on his throwing arm and laid on the turf for several seconds before trainers attended to him. He left the field under his own power and exchanged words with members of the Minnesota defense on his way to the sideline.
|10/15/2017||Jeremy Maclin, Bal, WR|
|Maclin (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears.
Analysis: Though this comes as a surprise, hopefully you didn't have Maclin in your fantasy lineup anyways considering his awful start to his first season with the Ravens. Breshad Perriman could see an increased role as a result of Maclin's absence.
|10/15/2017||Lavonte David, TB, LB|
|David (ankle) is expected to return for Sunday's game against Arizona.
Analysis: David only missed two games after being expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
